In 2001 Jeremy Hulsh arrived in Israel, leaving a promising career in the music business to change his latitude and become a paramedic in Israel.
What he heard when he arrived was an incredible renaissance of music and youth culture that was literally permeating from every small club to even the most established music venues. The greatest challenge that he saw, was that the Israeli musician community and Israel's music sector at-large was lacking the access and knowledge of how to take their music/message abroad in a meaningful and sustainable way. At the same time, the call of the Diaspora community to engage their young people with Israel through “peoplehood & connection” was continuing to gather steam. Above all, Hulsh saw a major need o develop platforms to expose and brand Israel as a vital and dynamic country- not only through politics and religion...but an authentic form of so-called “Hasbara”.
